[Coming Soon] Apocalypse Garden
$16.00
The world is getting a little seedy, so we get gardening.
Inspired by the Three Sisters planting method that honors the traditional method while explaining our modern adaptations. We've curated four colorful, edible varieties that thrive in warm weather and bring a little beauty, flavor, and self-sufficiency to your backyard.
What's Growing?
- Red Yardlong Bean: Mild, slightly sweet, earthy, and nutty. Similar to green beans but with a slightly denser, chewier texture.
- Strawberry Popcorn : Classic toasted corn flavor with mild nuttiness when popped. Not strawberry-flavored despite the name! No, it doesn't taste like strawberries. But these adorable ruby-red ears can be dried and popped into actual popcorn. Apocalypse movie night, anyone?
- Yellow Bush Scallop Summer Squash: Mild, buttery, slightly sweet, with tender flesh and a delicate zucchini-like flavor.
- Purple Ruffles Basil: A bold basil with peppery, clove-like notes and a hint of sweetness.
Seed Count: 80 seeds (4 varieties)
Recommended Growing Area: 80–100 sq. ft. (approximately 8×10 to 10×10 ft.) and a trellis that's 6–8 feet tall and 3–4 feet wide.
Sunlight: Full sun (6–8+ hours daily; 8+ preferred)
No bunker required.
Small seeds. A little more apocalypse-ready.
